This was perfect!

Temp had been working on the Cultural Festival for a while. Based on an important tradition to him and his people which they hadn't gotten to actually fulfill in a long time... or at least not since he was a kid. A festival for people to see them, to understand!

Right now he was taking a break, though. Getting around had been harder since the incident after the Tea Room. His ankle was still in a brace, broken. For now, he sat in the cafe of the Museum, sipping on some lemonade. His crutches were propped up beside him.

This was another good chance, though! A few days earlier, Temp had remember his meeting with angelo vestri during the speed dates. That guy had been eager to learn about his people- now seemed like as good a time as any! He could even give the other an early tour of the wing of the museum they would be using if he wanted. For now, though, Temp just idled by playing games on his phone while the time ticked down to their agreed meeting.

As soon as Angelo had crossed beneath the entrance arch of the museum, it had activated the countdown of the clock.

It was inevitable that he'd find him.

Angelo ends up getting caught just on the fringe of the museum cafe, finding himself crushed within the arms of one large, jolly Lilycove museum historian. Who just so happened to be skyler dross 's enthusiastic dad - his father-in-law.

Thankfully, a reassurance that he'd say goodbye to Mr Dross before he left the museum later had allowed Angelo the opportunity to slip away. Only after causing a backlog of visitors who hadn't been able to shuffle around the broad man.

Ten minutes late, he arrives at the table adjusting his rumpled jacket after no doubt providing a show for the cafe patrons while they had lunch.

“Don't forget to come by my office after, my favourite son-in-law! I have some of those cookies you like!”

“I'm his only son-in-law,” he smiles at Tempest Quinn with mirth before turning briefly back to wave another farewell at Mr Dross. Angelo then takes a seat opposite. “Hey.”

“You look like you've been in the wars. Been busy?”

Temp ends up spotting angelo vestri as he comes in the cafe. However, it seems like someone else does as well. He watches the little show with amusement, sipping his drink.

"My dad does that with my fiance." Temp doesn't even try and hide the fondness in his voice or the smile on his face. If anything, the whole spectacle had just reassured him that working with skyler dross's father was the right choice for this.

"Hey, dude!" Shifting, Temp just shrugged off the comment of his ankle. "You should see the other guy." He said, cryptic, with a wink. But, that was just some friendly banter. "Yeah! I'm really excited for the Festival. It's been a real pain to get together. Hope the Hoenn Curse doesn't strike the day of."
